I saw a need for such a website being a lawn bowler as I have always loved being invited and going to lawn bowling tournaments. I am aware many bowling clubs are struggling often to fill their lawn bowling tournaments and quite recently many have had to cancel long established tournaments.

It is hard enough to get sponsors for lawn bowling tournaments without having to say they were cancelled due to lack of bowlers.
This is the first version of lawnbowlsevents and over time I will fine tune and develop more and more content.

All clubs will be invited to submit their events whether they be weekly monthly or just once off.

I am happy to announce a very steady growth rate in viewers to lawn bowls events and in September 2010 there have been 220,766 hits and 6349 new visitors, whichis very exciting.
